Make a difference in WNY during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and all year!

A Message from Our Director:

Friends:

MIchelle’s mother had breast cancer, so she was diligent about her annual mammograms. When her doctor saw a spot that concerned her, Michelle wasn’t prepared for the rush of fear and anxiety. She felt crushed. It all felt so out of control.

Isabella received news that her breast cancer had returned and was worse than before. While fighting an aggressive type of cancer, her therapies left her unable to fend off even minor infections. She was growing tired of the fight and lonely from isolation.

The moment of diagnosis is terrifying; detection of any type of cancer can be devastating. Yet, there is so much a woman can do to increase her chances of survival and feel less alone. Providing a foundation of support is the purpose of the Breast Cancer Network of WNY, and none of this would be possible without you! If you believe a woman experiencing breast cancer should be met with wrap-around support, education, and encouragement, we need you!

Women like Michelle and Isabella need a place to turn where people understand their concerns, can relate to their experiences and feelings, and have victory stories of their own to share. They need safe places to relax and recharge. You can help make this possible for the 1,500 women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in your community this year. Please take action to stand with your neighbors – the mothers, sisters, daughters, grandmothers, aunts, nieces, and cousins of the WNY region – and make it possible for them to receive the support and encouragement they need.

The Breast Cancer Network of WNY is here for the women in our community as they navigate their road to recovery, and we need your help to do it! Your gift of any amount will help us provide valuable support services to WNY women diagnosed with breast cancer when they need it most and throughout their survivorship.

Yours in service,

Rob Jones
Executive Director
